SAMCO CONDUCTS REFRESHER COURSE ON HOW TO GRASP PUBLIC OPINIONS

In order to give a professional refresher course to grassroots-level trade union officials and help improve trade union activities as well as associate with the corporation in looking after the employees’ living conditions, developing business activities, and implementing the resolution of the trade union congress in the new period, SAMCO Corporation’s Trade Union held a refresher course for 130 grassroots-level trade union officials on 29 September 2018 at the corporate meeting hall. The course dealt with the following two special subjects:

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Dung - Chairwoman of the corporate Trade Union - gives an opening speech for the refresher course.

1. Skills to grasp public opinions and how to orientate the political ideology among the staff lectured on by lecturer To Dai Phong - Deputy Chief of the HCM City Party Committee’s Propaganda and Training Section;

2. Public speaking skills and how to get familiarized with propaganda, campaign, and persuasion tasks lectured on by professor Tran Trung Quang Nguyen - lecturer of the HCM City School of Theatre and Cinema.

   The refresher course was aimed at enhancing the trade union officials’ understanding, especially their propaganda and campaign skills, thereby making them more self-confident in interacting with trade unionists and employees and satisfactorily solving potential problems concerning labor relationships at the workplace.
