On 8 July 2018, SAMCO Corporation and its member companies paid a gift-giving visit to 12 women awarded the Vietnamese Heroic Mother title and simultaneously donated 250 bicycles to poor pupils of Long An province. The total amount, worth more than VND 600 million, was jointly contributed by the Parent Company’s clerical trade union and member companies.

This is one of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities SAMCO has frequently implemented. Notably, the gift-giving to the Vietnamese Heroic Mothers was also an act directed toward the War Invalids' and Martyrs’ Day, July 27.

With the message of “Your Sharing Companion” and notably in order to contribute to the national target program for building new-style rural areas, SAMCO decided to donate the bicycles to poor pupils out of a desire to make it easier for them to attend school for the new shool-year.

Mr. Tran Quoc Toan - SAMCO General Director - receives a thank-you letter from the Tan Thanh District People’s Committee of Long An province.
