TOYOTA BEN THANH WINS TWO GOLD MEDALS IN 2018 TOYOTA SKILLS CONTEST

Toyota Vietnam is one of the automakers in Vietnam that has focused on the development of its dealership over the past years. For the purpose of enhancing human resources quality and after-sales service quality, Toyota Vietnam holds its annual nationwide skills contest. 2018 is the year when the contest was held for the 20th time, with 42 excellent contestants selected among 6,800 members of all the dealers and nationwide Toyota dealer branches. The contestants competed in 5 contest categories: Sales Advisor, Service Advisor, Spare Parts Advisor, Technician, and Customer Relations Representative. The final round was held on 9 September 2018 at Toyota Song Lam in Vinh City, Nghe An province.

Toyota Ben Thanh Motor Company (the corporation’s affiliated unit) was entitled to select 3 contestants for the final round of the contest in the categories including Sales Advisor, Service Advisor, and Spare Parts Advisor. After the exciting and rather stressful contest categories, two contestants of Toyota Ben Thanh named Nguyen Ngoc Nga and Nguyen Van Tuan excellently won gold medals for Sales Advisor and Service Advisor.

Nguyen Ngoc Nga has been with Toyota Ben Thanh just for more than three years (since April 2015) but has put a lot of effort in her job and simultaneously participated in Toyota’s training courses, through which she was certified by Toyota Vietnam as a professional sales advisor - C2. Thanks to her incessant effort, Nguyen Ngoc Nga honorably won a gold medal for Sales Advisor in the Skills Contest 2018. In addition to improving her professional knowledge and striving for sales targets, Nguyen Ngoc Nga even actively engaged in movements of Toyota Ben Thanh as well as the corporation.

Nguyen Van Tuan has been with Toyota Ben Thanh since June 2013. Working as a service advisor requires the ability to deal with situations, with a high spirit of working for customers’ sake. In addition, Tuan also actively joined Toyota’s training courses and received the TSA PRO certificate. Thanks to the enterprise’s support in training and practice time in preparation for the contest, Nguyen Van Tuan became an excellent winner of a gold medal for Service Advisor.

These two winners will keep improving their professional knowledge to participate in the 29th Festival of International Champions in terms of customer services to be held by Toyota in Japan in late 2019.
