Vietnam’s National Quality Award, held by the Ministry of Science and Technology, aims to honour enterprises with outstanding achievements in improving their product and service quality, competitiveness, and operational effectiveness, integrating into the regional and global economies. In 2017, there were 73 enterprises across the country that honorably won the National Quality Awards. SAMCO as an honorable winner of the National Quality Ward 2017
The silver prize of the 2017 National Quality Award presented to SAMCO is a proof of its continuous effort in the past years in the field of transportation to instantly improve its product and service quality and operational effectiveness in the direction of international integration. In order to become an award winner, enterprises underwent a selection process among thousands of the nation-wide enterprises. The evaluation criteria for the awards are filtered almost based on those for the Asia-Pacific Global Performance Excellence Award. This is an important step to elevate the acceptable quality level of Vietnamese enterprise-made products to that of the regional countries.

The National Quality Award is the only quality award to honor enterprises determined by the Prime Minister and included in the Asia-Pacific Global Performance Excellence Award. The award is annually held to honour enterprises with excellent achievements in improving their product and service quality, competitiveness, and operational effectiveness. 1,842 enterprises were presented the National Quality Award and 44 were presented the Asia-Pacific Global Performance Excellence Award until 2017. More than 20 years after establishment, the awards have attracted the attention and made a reputation among enterprises, management agencies as well as consumers. The awards are really an honour for enterprises with excellent achievements. |
