Tan Cang  Phu Huu Port after 3 years of joint-venture operation

Tan Cang – Phu Huu Port Joint Stock Company just held a preliminary conference on the 3-year cooperation with the Ben Nghe Port Single-Member Company, Ltd. (a member company of the SAMCO Corporation) on the development of the port.

Tan Cang – Phu Huu Port was established on 4 May 2015 by a joint venture between Saigon Newport Corporation and Ben Nghe Single-Member Company, Ltd. Tan Cang - Phu Huu Port, which has come into operation, is expected to further enhance its potential to develop HCM City’s seaport area, thereby partially resolving the traffic flow problem with the road to Tan Cang Cat Lai Port.

After the cooperation agreement was signed between the Ben Nghe Port Single-Member Company, Ltd. and Tan Cang Phu Huu Joint Stock Company, Tan Cang - Phu Huu Port, with its experience as Vietnam’s leading port developer, was thoroughly instructed by the navy, Saigon Newport Corporation, SAMCO Corporation, and Ben Nghe Port to perform tasks from renovating the infrastructure to investing modern equipment. In tandem, Saigon Newport Corporation concluded as part of a joint venture to open an inter-port road connecting Tan Cang - Phu Huu Port to Tan Cang - Cat Lai Port for ease of cargo circulation. After exerting itself, Tan Cang - Phu Huu Port formally came into operation and welcomed the first ships, which shows the development of Tan Cang - Phu Huu Port has begun to bear fruit.
