Football competition in celebration of the anniversary of establishment of the corporation (November 26, 2004 – November 26, 2017)
In celebration of the anniversary of the establishment of the corporation (26 November 2004 – 26 November 2017), success in the 10th City Youth Union Delegate Congress for the 2017 – 2022 tenure, towards the 11th National Youth Union Delegate Congress, simultaneously creating an interactional environment among youth union members and youths of the corporation and its affiliated units.
On the morning of 25 November 2017, the corporate Youth Union and Trade Union jointly held a 5-player-a-side mini football competition at the HCM City Labor Culture Palace in celebration of this important event. The competition assembled 8 football teams from the Parent Company including Toyota Ben Thanh Motor Company (TBTC), Industrial and Motor Service Enterprise (ISAMCO), Municipal Construction Investment Enterprise (CSAMCO), Isuzu An Lac Auto Service Enterprise, An Lac Auto Mechanical Enterprise (SAMCO An Lac), An Lac Special Purpose Vehicle Mechanical Enterprise (SP.SAMCO), and SAMCO Commercial Vehicles (SCV). The team was divided into 2 tournament tables to choose the two teams making the best score in each table to enter the semifinal and final.
Football teams gather prior to the competition
After more than half-day of competition with a total of 16 matches, the team from the An Lac Auto Mechanical Enterprise won the championship, that from the Municipal Construction Investment Enterprise (CSAMCO) won the Second-Best prize, and those from the Toyota Ben Thanh Motor Company and the Industrial and Motor Service Enterprise equally ranked third. In addition, the organizing board awarded Top Scorer prizes to Van Tai (from SAMCO An Lac) and Chi Hai (from CSAMCO), Supporter prize to the team from the Municipal Construction Investment Enterprise (CSAMCO), Fairplay prize to the team from the corporate youth union, and 4 Fellow-Traveller prizes to the remaining teams.
The football competition in celebration of the anniversary of the establishment of the corporation took place in a joyful atmosphere of the players competing wholeheartedly for their colors, with high fair-play and ardent teamwork.
