SAMCO’s 4 outstanding young workers receive Nguyen Van Troi Award

    On October 15 morning, at the Youth House of Culture, on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the HCM City Youth Workers’ Day (15 Oct. 1982 – 15 Oct. 2017), was a commendation ceremony held by the HCM City Communist Youth Union to present the Nguyen Van Troi Award to 35 outstanding young workers. These are the most typical models of industriousness and innovations that suggested solutions to improve labor quality, benefiting corporately and socially.

HCM City and HCM City Communist Youth Union leaders commend outstanding young workers winning the 10th Nguyen Van Troi Award.

Among 35 the award winners were four workers from the Saigon Transportation Mechanical Corporation which include:

1. Pham Thai Nghia (head of general repair team of the Isuzu An lac Auto Service Enterprise) with achievements including 2016 Advanced Labor, certificate of merit from the corporate Trade Union executive board for 2016 good labor, first team prize for the 2016 national Isuzu technician skills contest, and second prize for the 2017 national Isuzu technician skills contest.

2. Le Van Phap (technician of the Isuzu An Lac Auto Service Enterprise) with achievements including 2016 Advanced Labour, first team prize for the 2016 national Isuzu technician skills contest, first prize for the 2017 national Isuzu technical skills contest.

3. Nguyen Thanh Tuan (technician of the Isuzu An Lac Auto Service Enterprise) with achievements including 2016 Advanced Labour, first prize for the 2016 national Isuzu technician skills contest, first team prize for the 2016 national technician skills contest, and certificate of merit for excellence in labor.

4. Nguyen Thanh Tri (employee of the An Lac Auto Mechanical Enterprise) with innovations consisting of installation of a bus door obstruction detection device to enhance passenger safety and solution to replace zinc-plated 0.3mm body panels with plastic ones with thermal insulation to help reduce work movements for workers, enhancing labor productivity and passenger safety.

Speaking at the ceremony, Pham Hong Son, secretary of the city’s Communist Youth Union, felt proud of contributions by young workers to the city’s development. With youth enthusiasm, young workers made a lot of corporately and socially beneficial invitations.

According to Pham Hong Son, the Nguyen Van Troi Award opportunely commended and multiplied typical models among Youth Union members and young workers with excellent achievements as contributions to the city’s socio-economic and cultural development. this is an acknowledgment of contributions by young workers of the city named after the Uncle.
